Eason Chan
Eason Chan is on the threshold of major stardom in Hong Kong and undoubtedly one of the most dominant male singers in the post-1997 era of Hong Kong music industry.
At the age of 12, Eason was sent to the boarding school in the United Kingdom where he learned to play violin and sang in the choir. He attended Dauntsey’s School in Wiltshire, England and later Kingston University, majoring in architecture.
In 1995, Eason returned to Hong Kong to participate in the 1995 New Talent Singing Competition. He beat 2,000 entrants and won the first place and a singing contract with Capital Artists. Putting aside his career as an architect, Eason decided to venture in the music industry. With his unique style of singing and remarkable technique, his debut had swept Asia’s music scene by storm and confirmed his stardom.
